Spring 2025 Color Trends Report

Some of the hottest shades we recently embraced were olive green, chocolate brown, and burgundy. As spring is just around the corner, it is time to move onto new adventures.

This season, we’ll see some delicate and interesting turns, blending the soft romance of pastels with the edginess of metallic shimmers. The Spring 2025 color palette is a mix of light, glamorous, and deep tones.

So, let’s name the trendiest shades for the months ahead.

1. Powder Pink

This is going to be one of those seasons where nature’s shades reflect in outfits, and just like that, powder pink is bringing the romantic sensations of bloom into fashion.

We’ve already seen it in Valentino’s slip dresses and Prada’s suits, and we’ll definitely continue to see powder pink in absolutely every piece, from tops to bottoms, this season.

It’s also a special shade, as it has the power to soften sharp tailoring and emphasize the delicacy of fabrics like silk and organza. Simply put, we’ll bloom in powder pink.

2. Butter Yellow

Up next, we have butter yellow. Imagine the softness of a melted pat of butter on warm bread. That’s exactly what this shade is about—gentle, yummy, happy.

From Acne Studios’ midi dresses to Bottega Veneta’s leather handbags, butter yellow is redefining minimalism with a delicious warmth. It works beautifully in monochrome sets—such as light-knit co-ords or draped jersey dresses. It’s actually a great alternative for those who love neutrals yet prefer a warmer option over beige.

3. Mint green

We are welcoming back mint green this season after some time apart. Seen in Stella McCartney’s oversized blazers and Victoria Beckham’s draped midi dresses, it is the season’s cool-toned pastel.

Mint green pairs well with cream, grey, or even powder pink for a fresh and contemporary look.

We’ll absolutely see it in breezy dresses, tailored separates, and structured handbags.

4. Cream

Cream literally brought lightness to our colder days, but it seems like it will stay a little longer. Chanel is embracing this shade in soft bouclé sets and The Row plays with layered textures in cream.

We’ll continue to see it in pretty much everything—from shirts to trousers, from shawls to handbags.

5. Sky Blue

We are switching from navy to sky blue, it seems. Spotted in pretty much all over both Sandro’s and Jacquemus’ collections, sky blue is bringing an ethereal vibe to the season.

Why not pair it with cream for a sophisticated tonal look? That way, you’ll have two of the trendiest colors in one outfit.

6. Tangerine

For those who need something bolder, tangerine might be just what you’re looking for. Radiating confidence, we’ve already seen it in Alexander McQueen’s and Miu Miu’s collections.

There will be pretty much two ways to go: a full tangerine look or a pop of color through a handbag or strappy sandals. So, choose your side if you want to be bold.

7. Metallic shimmers

Finally, it’s worth mentioning that metallic shimmers are still popular this season—but with a twist. This season’s metallics lean into soft luminosity rather than high-shine drama.

We’ve seen brands like Self-Portrait and Rixo introduce embellished dresses with a soft glam.

Namely, from sequined mesh tops to metallic-accented accessories, we don’t have much choice but to embrace this futuristic elegance day and night this season!
