Fall/Winter 2024: 5 Color Trends You Can’t Miss

Previously, we’ve covered the hottest print trends for Fall/Winter 2024 - from the fun cow print to the timeless tartan. Now, it is time to talk about the must-have color hits of the season.

Particularly, five shades are setting the tone for the season, whether you’re layering up in knits or going bold with outerwear.

1. Burgundy

A shade of many names, from wine red to Bordeaux, burgundy is by far the least surprising trend of FW 2024. It was already popular last year, and we could tell that it would not just walk away.

This deep hue is great for both casual and evening looks. From oversized coats to sleek leather boots, we’ll be seeing burgundy everywhere and every day.

2. Olive Green

The culinary shades are rising beautifully. The luxurious red wine is followed by the appetizing olives.

Olive green is absolutely taking over the scene this season. Earthy and versatile, it is perfect for outerwear, knitwear, accessories and boots. It is subtle yet strong, blending naturally with neutrals and still making an impact of its own.

Highlight: While olive green is specifically getting popular, many other shades of green are actually hot right now. From sage to forest green, nature is pretty much influencing the fashion world.

3. Chocolate brown

Another delicious shade to talk about is none other than chocolate brown. It is the perfect alternative to black this season.

Showing up in head-to-toe outfits—layered knit dresses, wide-leg trousers, and longline coats— chocolate brown is the hue behind effortless luxury looks.

Tip: You can pair a chocolate brown suede bag with warm tones like caramel or contrasting shades like cream for an effortless and cool vibe.

4. Cream

Soft and warm, cream is bringing lightness to the colder and darker days. In luxurious cashmere or sleek wool, it is part of that classic, minimal, and sophisticated look.

From long overcoats to cozy turtlenecks, cream is the perfect base for building elevated and tonal outfits.

5. Navy

Finally, we have navy under the radar. A timeless classic, navy is making a powerful comeback - one we’ve been waiting for!

This season, we are watching navy flourishing in all forms, from tailored suits to polo sweaters.

Pairing well with neutrals, bold colors, or metallic details, it is gorgeous and sophisticated without the element of darkness.
